Is Offset 47mm okay for a Classic?
Looking at a set of Secondhand wheels that are 7x17" and 47mm offset, i am presuming these are okay as I have seen 48mm and 50mm advertised for fitment to Scoobs.

What suspension you have and what tyres you use will have a major influence but I suspect there is a fair chance of rubbing the wheel arches when heavily loaded or cornering hard. 48mm is really the minimum. ET50-55 is ideal offset.

Cheers mate
I will have standard STI suspension, although it may get lowered 30mm. And the tyres will be just the standard 215/40/17's.
hmmm, now you've made me think!

also what callipers have you got on the front mate because sometimes depending on the style of wheel and offset this is an issue, just something to bear in mind.
