Default Track tyres

Looking for some cheap tyres for a sprint in the next couple of weeks. They are for a highly strung clio 16v any suggestions? ie toyo R888 etc

I'd go for slicks but then it's sure to rain.

a m8 of mine used to use toyo proxes t1 s but buffed them down to 2mm for dry tracks and kept them new for wet races on his pug racer

Speak to Protyre in Stockport- they do the tyre support for the Clio Cup, and always have lightly used slicks and wets available for next to nothing (usually about £100 a set)
