Default 2002 Wheels on a '94 WRX ??

Hi Folks,

Can anyone tell me if standard wheels from the new shape imprezas (MY02 in particular) fit the classics?? The stud pattern seems to be the same (5x100 PCD). Can they be used as direct replacements. I'll be hopfully purchasing my first impreza this week, probably a '94 as a second car for weekend fun and would like to keep it looking stock, and I've found a few of these wheels on ebay. Also, if anyone else has done this it would be great to see pics of the car to see how they look. Any other suggestions or comments greatly welcome. I'm a Scooby newbie, but know my cars.
Pic of wheels I'm on about:

Regards,

Clint.

Cheers messiah,
I thought they would be the same fit. I should imagine they'd fit the earlier ('94) imprezas also. Anyone have any pics of these wheels on a classic ??

They do look good, and an excellent upgrade to 17's, but with that 'stabard' look.... just be sure to use 215 40 17's, and not 45 profile tyres as they are fitted on the 01 onwards cars.....

Thanks for the tip Ron, I'll see if i can get them tyre-less. Is it the Eagle F1s that everyone recommends for the impreza ??

The F1's are good mate, but there are plenty others that are adequte, it's each their own with tyres, what one person likes someone else might not.....
