Studded snow tyres, or caterpillar tracks

Not silly Daz, but studded tyres are the only option for packed snow or ice. Caterpillar tracks might have been a silly answer

Clearly no standard tyres are good on ice, leaving only one option. Studded tyres, and who uses those? Hence my comment.
And besides, it's summer.

Or don't go out in the scoob in icey conditions. I did once. Never again. Was driving one way, next thing I've spun 180 at around 20 mph miraculously missing parked Merc.

Standard tyres on a scoob are fine for driving on ice/snow, even changing direction. So long as you keep the speed down and drive smoothly. Stopping is a different story

I've driven up a sheet ice hill in a UK MY99 on 17" Toyo T1s. Tried to park by just using the handbrake and it started to slide backwards, had to park on the grass to get more grip.

Dave.
