Standard tyres on a scoob are fine for driving on ice/snow, even changing direction. So long as you keep the speed down and drive smoothly. Stopping is a different story
I've driven up a sheet ice hill in a UK MY99 on 17" Toyo T1s. Tried to park by just using the handbrake and it started to slide backwards, had to park on the grass to get more grip.
