Default Brake question

Hi,

Have a 1995 wrx wagon with solid rear discs. Have some new vented rear discs for the back but obviously need new claipers. (95 wagon did not bennifit from the vented rear discs)
Will front calipers fit on the rear from another car or will i need to look for proper vented rear calipers?

Sorry to bother you, what size are the front disks on your wagon? I have a 94 wagon and I've just seen some 290mm grooved and drilled disks for wrx's new on Ebay for £50 a 'pair'
