Tyre Tread legality?
Was on track not so long ago and wore the outer edge of one of the Tyres
I was told by a garage that the tread was illegal but I dont think so
I thought the law was that you had to have a minimum of 1.6mm across at least 75% of the width of the tyre - i.e. if its a 215 then it would need to be circa 160mm of the width over 1.6mm
I have about a 30mm groove that is effectively bald - is this illegal - I dont think so?
