Cool 19's on a classic?

Looking at my car yesterday while washing it, and was thinking to myself... the 18's look alittle on the small side with the drop now...
So was just woundering, do 19's go straight on, because the 18's on mine went straight on with no arch mods... and no catching at all...?
Is there much of a choice for 19's for the classics, and what sort of prices am I looking at???

I've seen a few with 19's in the gallery it may be worth a search on that.

My concern with the car being lowered so much would be rubbing on the back wheel arches, you may need to get the rear arches rolled for clearance ?

I think what you have on there really looks great to be honest... and new 19's would empty your wallet !! lol

Cool

Cheers, I'm just bored with them... my wheels will go straight up in the arches with no catching on the 18's, I can drop the front another 2-3 inches, and the rear another 2 inches... but I'd have to be mad?... I'm running on coilovers, so don't really think they would be to much of a problem...

You'll need to roll the arches on the rear a bit, as well as removing the rubber trim. The front will be fine as long as you haven't lowered it to much.

I think i would be concerned with the bump travel and the driveshaft angles to go so low (and sleeping policemen)
The policemen who are awake can also 'do' you for having the car too low, but not for 19's!
My Sti v3 is far better to drive on 16's than 17's (P1 wheels) but it's your car!

Good luck,
Graham.
