The anthracite rims on my P1 are subject to a fair few scratches and i need them sorting.... anyone know a good wheel re-furb place?? preferably in the north west. Needs to be good cos the paint match on these rims is a total b**ch!

 

I am not sure about which company to use, but if you manage to find a company that can replicate the OZ racing logo that goes on the side of the rim then let me know.
As for the colour, Ive seen a brand new set of P1 rims next to an old set. Both look a different shade. It seems that the P1 rims have a tendancy to fade as they get old. (too much chemicals when washing perhaps)
My 18" had no scratches but the colour was faded so had then powder coated.
My 17" have slight kerb damage, so once repaired I wil have them spray painted to get a better shade match to the original colour.

 

My Folks run a sticker business and can make the stickers for the side of the P1 rims no probs!! I am having my wheels refurbed on saturday morning so I am going to either get the sprayer-dude to fit them on before the lacker coat or just put them on afterwards. Will let you know how it looks and if your interested then i can get some made up for you.
