I have posted on here recently about brake judder and have read various things that people have said about the possible cause of brake judder. Anyway to tell the story..

Fitted EBC red ceramic pads a few months back with the "thin" metal plate behind the pads as supplied. No problems for a bit, but recently i was getting heavy brake judder under braking. The disks were new a few months back too and i don't drive that hard.
Anyway i tried replacing the thin metal strip behind the pads on the EBC's with 2 thin peices of metal which were on my old set of pads (i think they are orignal subaru parts). Now the brake judder has gone to a level were you would not notice it all
So just note to say before you buy new disks or pads try this "cheaper" fix.
