Minimum pad/disc thicknesses for Prodrive brakes
After a year & 26,000 miles, I've got the pads down to 3-4 mm and the discs to 26mm.
Discs are slightly blue, showing very fine radial cracks but nothing more and there's no warping.
The little certificate that came with the brakes says pads should be changed at 2mm and says there is a marker on the discs. I couldn't see find this on either disc with the wheel off.
Anyone know when discs have to go?
Nick

The minimum disc thickness is 25mm but there's no need to measure them as it's an easy visual check. The grooves are 1.5mm deep and the disc starts at 28mm so when the groove disappears, the discs need changing. Remember to check the rear face as well as the front.
