17"s or 18"s for MY00 ImprezaTurbo?
Hi all, what size wheels for the best looking and handling? I'm currently running on 16"s on MY00 Impreza Turbo. Just thought i'd call on all your knowledge before I depart with the hard earned cash. I was thinking of getting some 18" BK Racing 299 wheels in gold. Also, what's the best air filter?
Cheers,
Phil.

Subaru Silver 18" Alloys with tyres for sale.

I have 5 rims (4 with tyres).
They are in fantastic condition (only 6 months old).
The 5th rim has a small amount of curb damage which is only cosmetic - the top laquer has been scratched off. The 5th rim would make an ideal spare and could easily and cheaply be repaired.
These are Wheelmania Vortex alloys and have chrome valves and dust caps.
They are 18" and (obviously) fit a classic Scooby (but would probably fit many other types of car with high offset).
I have just refitted my 16" alloys and the handling/ ride and feel of the car was so much better with the 18's.
These wheels retail new at well over £1000 (for just 4 rims) and are in close to brand new condition.
I would like to get in the region of £800 for them.
Send any offers to gppowis@hotmail.com

I am running on 17" BK299s with Toyo Proxy's on, excellent road holding etc.
Just a warning on the BK299s, had mine on less than 6 months and have started to get pitting/blemishes on the chrome edge, told this was salt from gritting.
Took them back to suppliers who have agreed to replace 3 out of 4 (the 4th has slight kerbing and this apparantly invalidates my claim on this one !!
