Just been quoted £87 a corner for Pirelli P6000's .......
But, been around the web and there are reports of these tyres going out-of-balance regularly ..... anyone any experience of this??

There can be no comparison other than cost between 6000 and the Pilot Sports?
I have had sets and sets of 6000 over about 15 years (!) and they are perfect Company Car tyres. Cheap, long life (Rover 800/Honda's/Audi A4's) and good all rounders.
On a Scooby or anything 'quick' then I think they will dissapoint.
The Vovo is pushing huge bhp/torque through the front apit, it's heavy too, so the fronts get blitzed.
If you want a value for money tyre, get a set of TR1's from Toyo and rotate them every 6000 miles.
I got 24K from a set of SO2's on my UK Turbo twice. (company car)
Oh, and all those 6000's never went out of balance from new to worn-out.
Graham.
