Question Getting c/bore machined on a set of oz racing mags?

Hi,

I just got some prodrive racing mags off ebay, Impreza SWRT jobbies...

But I went to get tyres for them today and when we tried to test fit the rims before I shelled out for the tyres they would not go over the hub.

This means I need to have the wheel centres re-bored I figure and so has anyone got any tips or recommendations of where to go / how to go about it etc?

The guy at the tyre place said all the holes do line up perfectly but that
I might need longer studs?!

I gotta get these rims on my scoob whatever it takes so if anyone has any useful info I'd be grateful!

Cheers in advance

you will almost certainly run into clearance problems with this type of wheel.............the WRC cars run totally different hub set-ups requiring a large offset wheel............
would be worth checking the arch clearance before getting too involved..........

yes, but the wheel assembly as a whole will sit further out from the hub, therefore causing the tyre to sit further out than the arch....................
like i say it would be worth trying before you get too involved as if they are pukka WRC wheels then your in trouble, unless you have very heavily modded wide arches??
