Tarox - Sport Japan disks

I have been offered a set of the Tarox Sport Japan disks for the front of my 02 Sti for a very reasonable price (less than replacement OEM Brembo disks). I am thinking about fitting them along with the Pagid "black" pads. Does anyone have any experience with these disks, i.e, how do they wear, strength etc.

Also is it worth fitting braided brake hoses?
