Power steering scrub - move to rear??
My front tyres are showing signs of what I think is normally called power steering scrub - the outside inch is getting low (not smooth but at about wear marker interval if wear markers were on the edge) on both sides which is starting to affect the handling in the wet. I presume in my case its from attacking roundabouts a bit too quick with a less than ideal geometry setup.
Now I've got P1 geometry on my MY03 WRX, I'm thinking of switching the perfect rears to the front - would having slightly worn rears cause the car to oversteer more (which I REALLY don't want)??
All 4 tyres have only done 6k miles, the worn area is only a real small amount - nothing approaching a 3rd of the tyre, and it seems a shame to bin them...
What do you think?
