Default Further to my "Time for new pads" post

I was thinking of getting some uprated discs as well as the pads. i'm guessing i have the 2 pot brakes on my car as it's a 94 import. does anyone know if i can changes the discs for the 294mm items and keep the 2 pot calipers? it's a bit £££ to change them as well.

does anyone / can anyone make me a braket to do this?

cheers,

matt.

just looked at the gap between the caliper and the wheel and there's about 10 mm in it. guess i couldn't fit larger discs without getting new wheels, set of 17's before the brakes get upraded then!!!

Actually, the subaru 4pots are reasonably thin for a 4pot caliper. The turbo classic rims (5 & 6 spoke 16") fit over them as well as some rally rims (15" x 7" - speedlines/racelines and compomotives).

The 4 pots are definently worth it though IMHO for an import.
