Thumbs up New Toyo T1-Rs

Bought a set of T1-Rs from Camskill recently - £424 all in inc delivery. Took them to local tyre fitters on Fri. Understeered a little for 1st few miles so had to be patient whilst scrubbing them in.
After a long drive today, they have improved no end. So I'm a very happy boy!
The guy at Camskill also reckons that I should be putting around 42PSI in the fronts and 36PSi in the rears He spoke of his knowledge of a calculation which takes into account the average weight of a car front/rear, the wheel and tyre size etc. I'll trial this theory and see how it goes...

Oh, and I have 2 part worn T1-S Toyos now for sale. Size is 215/35/ZR18.

If anyone is interested then please PM me and make me an offer.

I would NOT be putting that much air in the tyres! I bet that a) Understeers like buggery and b) Wears the middle out of your tyres!
I'd run something like 32-34 all round maximum!

I had been running it at 34 front/ 30 rear. I'll give it a few days. I can't seem to find a definitive guide on tyre pressures. But I must admit I'm baffled at the theory I heard the other day re. the higher pressures.

Hi, have had these tyres for a few months now, very impresive over the T1-S.
One of the reasons I chose them was they have a higher load rating than the S's, ie slightly stronger sidewalls, so have been running about a 1 psi less all round, it seems to work for me!!

Try this one if you live near or in South Wales.
