Question dub-dub-dub noise from car????

Noticed a dub-dub noise from my Discovery yesterday - thought at first it was road noise.

Deffinately got seriously worse pushing round a big roundabout ( I am an Impreza driver too y'know ). Noise continued on the straight but not quite as bad. Left turns seem to improve & right turns made more noise...

I recalled having hit a large pothole on a small road - possibly the impact has caused damage - I thought at first wheel damage or lost a balance weight - but now am thinking probably wheel bearings...

Anyone have any ideas to help me on the problem solving?

Cheers

Mick

check for tyre damage, could be an egg on the tyre wall which will create a drumming sound due to the tyre being out of balance most probably one of the rears powerman
