Question AP 6 POT CALIPERS

Will above calipers bolt straight onto 04STI and use standard discs, this is all because noone wants my 18"ultralites,i think the wheels will clear AP calipers

there's several different callipers with the AP 6 pots, they all use AP discs though - thicker than the normal discs as there's room for more heat disapation in the centre of the 2 surfaces.

As for the ultralites, it wasn't one of the wheels I ever found in my search that would clear the massive callipers so I'd be careful with them, the AP callipers don't stick out as much as the Brembo 6-pot ones, but while being flatter, they're also wider (it depends mostly on the shape of the spokes of the wheel - if in doubt, try and find someone with the 6-pots on and take you wheel round to see)

You can download a "pdf format caliper installation profile to confirm wheel clearance" from AP Racing website. Follow Brake Kit Selection, Subaru, Impreza.

Then print it out (must be full size, so disable all the fit to page and stuff like that first). Cut it out and then you can try it inside your wheel and see if there's enough clearance. Bit Blue Peter but works a treat in practice.
