Unhappy REAR DISCS AND PADS

Just bought some new rear pads from subaru for about £70 would like to replace the discs at the same time but at £117 each a bit expensive any idea where i can get some cheaper ones. Also how easy are they to fit, i gather the pads are easy but how about the discs. Its a 99 uk (vented rears)
Any ideas?

Try www.camskill.co.uk just got some solid rear discs and some pads from them for my 94 WRX, the discs were £37 for the pair , think the ones you need are £45. They do drilled as well if you fancy a bit of extra cooling but they're quite a bit more expensive.

Nearly forgot about the fitting it looks easy enough from the guide I've seen, I'll have a better idea after the weekend once I've actually attempted it.

Sorry don't have the link for the guide to hand will post it once I get home if you want though.

Question

Just ordered my discs from camskill at £45 + 8 p&p. Are these discs any good as they are so cheap. Will I notice any difference in braking etc ie warped discs. Its just everywhere i have looked discs are at least £200+ so for £53 for the pair what a bargin.

Well got my discs today and they are on now. Thanks for the fitting guide by the way really helpful. Had do adjust the handbrake a bit after. It only clicks once before biting is this a bit to harsh it does not seem to be rubbing. One bit of bad news when my wheel was off and was giving the wheel and wheel arch a good clean saw a nail in my tyre. Went to Jet tyres and after persuasion they put a patch on it as it was fairly close to the edge. I did not want to replace the tyre as they are brand new eagle f1 gsd3s. What do you guys and girls think of patches safe of not?

Default Hi

Hi

Patches on tyres should be done to a british standard and should NOT bend into the edge on the inside of the tyre.

The reason for not overlapping the edge is that the patch can lift under hard cornering and because you drill a hole in the tyre at the point the nail went through it the tyre goes down rapidly.
Having said that it takes a lot of stick before it does this. ie Driving like a complete tw*t
