Default Replacement Brake discs For MY99.

I need to replace the O.E front discs on my my99. Don't want to go to the extra expense of a big break kit. Thinking of same size discs but non origional (subaru) as the price seems about the same as O.E replacement at a dealers but the non orig discs are grooved or drilled so would seem superior. My driving is mainly on road. Any advice on what disc pad set up is best. much appreciate any feedback.

Cheers

I bought standard size disks and pads for my 99 MY from the local Auto Spares for £180 fitted them in 2 hours and I'm no wiz with this sort of thing.

Pads wise try Ferodo DS2500, EBS Redstuff Ceramic or Pagid RS4-2.
Discs, anything.
