Default AP 304 mm Brakes

Hello,

I'm a Newbie who needs some brake advice.
Currently have a MYOO with prodrive discs, Pagid pads and brake lines.
I regularly attend trackdays, including the "Ring" and was wondering if its worthwhile to upgrade to the AP's 304 for track use (or are the 330's the only way to go).
I'm looking for better brake control and fade-resistance, but want to keep the 16's wheels for winter.

Any comments welcome

Cheers, Bash

the 304mm 4pot kit is very good (if a bit more expensive than 330's!!)if you are stuck with the std wheels...................you can get the std set-up to work very effectively from a track-day point of view - all of the "gpN" cars have no option!!

Hi Bash,

the 304s are more than adequate. The only time you would appreciate the benefits of the 330mm kit is if you were running slicks on a very stiffly set-up car.

I've run the 304s on an Impreza for 4yrs now with no problems on any track. Ask anyone that remembers Stef/CK1 carrying out endos at Donnington

OK, so it's decided.
Next season I'll be using the AP's.

Does anyone know the best place to buy from?

Cheers, Bash

make sure you get good fluid and some braided hoses as well... dampers also make a difference to braking...
