Standard or 8 groove

Need new discs on front of my 01 scoob.

What are the advantages of an 8 groove disc over a standard one and is it worthy of the extra cost?

Respec your oppinions.

8 groove allow pad gases to escape, therefore dont get build up of a fluid bearing effect, and hence better braking

Is the better braking noticable in ordinary situations or only in emergencies/ heavy driving?
