Default can valves be repaired on tyres?

thoughti would do the sensibel thing and check tyre pressures as the cold sets in. Only managed to shear off the valve in the cold! doh. Can thesse be repaired??>

yep, more or less all tyre places can do a valve replacement, not too pricey either from what i remember (had one done about three years ago) talking change from a tenner i think.

They don't have to take the tyre off completely. I recently had mine done at a local tyre place FOC.
