Squeaky rear brake on 94 WRX
I have a squeak coming from the right rear brake on my 94 WRX. It only happens when the brakes are heated up and then only at low speeds, from 0-30 mph. It seems to be a squeak (or rubbing noise) every revolution of the wheel.
Im not sure if this could be a warped disc or just worn pads or even both?
Any suggestions would be appreciated because if its a simple fix, It'll save me new pads and discs costs.
Thanks in advance,
Bing.

I would go for a partially seized calliper. My car was doing this and i left it that long that it warn my pads away and started to ruin the disk. I have now had it removed, cleaned and unseized, plus fitted new disks and pads at the same time. Problem solved. Once you have the calliper off, have a look at the pads for un even ware (Pads may be fatter at one side if the calliper is seized)
I also have a My 94 wrx.
Hope that helps mate.

Yes. Undo the 12mm bolt and the top part of the caliper lifts up, this is where you findo out how bound it is! Then carefully take off the rubber boot over the slide and slip off the top part of the caliper. I cleaned mine with wd40 and 1200 grade wet and dry. I gave it a small smear with high temp grease and reassembled. Not had any problems since.
