So what happened to the 500 pairs of WR1 wheels ?
As title folks...
What happened to the 500 odd pairs of WR1 wheels and tyres that the cars were rolling on before they got upgraded at prodrive ?
They were supposedly STi alloys in dark grey with the REO70 tyres - so who got them all ?
Prodrive ? or who ?
Can any one PLEASE direct me to the secret stash of WR1 wheels ?
Names and numbers would be cool

My local dealer has sets for sale (Aberdeen) .. needing £587 (or thereabouts for them) and this includes a free STi backbox 
They are also sticking them on Impreza sports and a kind of dealer special. They are graphite with the RE070 tyres.

Got a set sent from "Aberdeen - Town & Country" for £ 620 inclusive (with 24 hr courier to my door.)

Plenty been on Ebay recently, as a set on the other week, brand new but no tyres for a bargain £175! I would have bought them, but I think 3 sets of wheels is probably enough!
P.S they are same as the gold STi wheels, 17x7.5 take a 225 tyre, or a 215 would fit.

It's actually Gates Tyres in Carlisle, apparently there are 100 sets still out there to be had!
