I've got a 2001 WRX seriously in need of 4 new tyres and i have found a price of £83 each, fully fitted.
Has anybody else got these tyres & are they any good ?

Had some on my old Corrado and they were fine in the dry and not bad in the wet, but they were truly awful in damp conditions (misty, dewey mornings). They are very soft, hence the good dry grip, and so wear very quickly. I have inheritted 2 on my Scoob, but will change them for something else when they wear out (which shouldn't take too long
). TBH £83 is way too much for a tyre which has been on sale for around 6 years and was never very good in the 1st place. You can get Toyo's, F1's or Vredestien UltraC's for the same money. I'd even get Hankook Ventus or Fulda Assurra before the Yoki's, and you can get them for about £50 a corner.

Certainly wouldnt put hankook above the yokos..I had some ventus on my old hatch and they were cr@p tyres imo.
A mate is running a539s on his type r and they are pretty good but certainly wouldnt put them up with f1 or even t1s.
