Tyre repair and Trackdays
As bad luck would have it, one week before Donington, I've picked up a large screw in one of my road tyres. As I was intending to use them for one last blast, then swap all 4 tyres afterwards anyway (2mm rears, 3mm fronts), I'm going to get 4 new ones, but I was curious to know if a repaired tyre is safe to use on a trackday. Personally, I'm not sure I'd do so, but anyone got any thoughts this?
And before anyone asks, I'm not going to use 4 brand-new tyres on track - I've still got my original 16 inch wheels which I'll put back on.

I had a similar puncture repair and then had a full track day about 2 months later without problems. I might have worried more if I had remembered about the repair before the event!!
