Default Handbraker light wont go out?

At the weekend I took off the calipers and sprayed them red then did the raised 'Subaru' letter in white, put it all back together and it looks great but the (!) light by the clocks will not go out even tho the handbrake is not applied?

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Neil.

Your oil level is low in the brake reservoir.

Yep check the fluid level as the light is also the low warning and will stay on if no fluid in system.

ah ha! yea that makes sense. As the girlfirend was sittin in the car helping me bleed the brakes I forgot that I had taken the pads out of the other side and managed to push out one of the pistons, DOH! so a fair bit of fluid would have been lost including doing the bleeding.

I will put some more in tonight.

Thanks guys!!
