Smile NSF Wheel Area noise(s)

One noise is like the brake backing plate rubbing (not constantly). I also get a cracking noise coming from the NS wheel area (once again not constantly). The sounds generally worsen when steering to the right.

Any idea's as my mechanic is at a loss.

Could it be a wheel bearing? CV joint? Something else?

TIA for any advice.

It was the wheel bearing, had also damaged the hub.

Both changed and ECUTek 2.5 added, all's good again.

Same sounds as I'm having. It sounds like a gratting noise from the nsf wheel just comes on when turning right. Changed pads today on the brembo setup...not so frequent now.
Any ideas.

That's weired, i have the same sound NSF " wheezing rubbing scraping "generally when wheel turned right, but now also when straightening up.

This morning i took the wheel off, removed pads, suspected the thin backplate inside of disc, put together again and guess what its still there.

Mines a MY 96 UK, I am now suspecting if over the last 1 1/2 days its due to the speed humps i negotiate every day. i also fiited eibach spring sand Koni shock inserts, maybe teh stifff front end + humps have damaged something.

I 've parked it up until i can get a pukka Subaru dealer to check, next week.

Could this be CV, or drive train issues??????

Any help would be appreciated.
Regards

It is probably wear on the hub carrier as well as the hub/bearing I am afraid.

No point in putting new hubs onto worn carriers.
