Brake pads Prices????
I have just rang my local Subaru dealer - and they are quoting me £101 for a set of front pads for a 2001 turbo impreza - is this about right or do third party companies do them cheaper???

He's a top bloke and will give you the best advice you're ever likely to get. Plus, he'll do you a good deal if you decide to buy from him. Bought a set of Pagid rs421s from him a while back. Best deal anywhere and a huge improvement over standard pads (though I think he'll also be able to sell you the standard jobbies).

I just bought some EBC Red Ceramics (don't confuse these with the **** EBC used to make). I got them delivered for about £80 from www.camsport.co.uk. Very helpful guy will tell you all about the history of EBC pads and which ones to buy. Remember Ceramics not the ordinary red ones.
Check in this forum for comments on them. They are fairly new.
