Hi i am thinking of upgrading my brakes pads and posibly me discs aswell
on my 2001 WRX i seem to get a lot of brake noise [& fade] when under heavy breaking

i was thinking about red dot brakes http://www.motorsportworld.co.uk/fra...dot-brakes.htm
any advice would be welcome

I was very pleased with the performance of Red Dot XE(fast road) pads on my '95 Impreza(2 pot brakes). Never suffered from fade but they were quite dusty, washed off easily though. Mine were used with EBC Turbogroove discs not the Red Dot discs. They were a better pad the EBC Greenstuff at the time but I'm fairly sure all the EBC pads have been reformulated since I used them. It looks like they only list 4 pot pads in the XF competition compound. Halfords sell Red Dot, it might be worth going in to check if they sell them in the fast road compound.
