Default MY04 WRX Tyre price & advice.

Hi,

Just about to need my first set of tyres on my 04 WRX. My main complaint with the standard Bridgestone RE050 is the road noise and hard ride. It would seem from doing a search that the Goodyear F1 is a good replacement, has any one replaced their Bridgestones with them and how do they rate them ? are they quieter etc

Lastly I have been quoted £91 a corner fitted & balanced, does this sound good ?

Cheers in advance for any info.

I have only just replaced my MY03 WRX with Proxes T1-R's. Dunno bout RE050, but Toyo's are awesome, but not cheap. I got mine through SIDC and then www.blackcircles.com. Try there.

Depends where you are in the country but Micheldever (Nr Winchester) are very good on price & service. I always use them despite a 120 mile round trip.

I'll be replacing my RE050s with Goodyear F1s there as soon as I need to.

Thanks, it was Micheldever that quoted me £91, I live in Wales but go to Hampshire often on business so have always used them. They are so much cheaper than anyone else !
