Default DS2500 Part Number??

Just checking, but anybody know the part no. of these pads on standard 4 pots?

Is it FDS986 (they appear to be 300ZX pads)?

Cheers.

I have just spoken to Ferodo's main distributer. They have told me that the FCP986H are not road legal. The DS Performace that fit the Subaru's are FDS986. THe guy tells me that they are the main supplier to main Subaru Rally teams and the run the DS3000 on the competition car, but for long road usage they use the FDS986 as it has road legal brake linings! You learn something everyday!

What are your thoughts?

think someone is being a bit liberal with the truth....................Ferodo Racing do not make the DSPF pad in a shape compatible with the WRC cars caliper set-up!!!

you do not have time or the facilities to change brake components purely to do a road section, regardless of length!!

alyn

p.s. can confirm that 986 is the correct pad shape................

Well it did make me wonder? You dont see Mr Solberg & Mr Mills under the wheel arches at the end of every stage.

Ok so what pad do I go for. Id be happy to use the higher spec, but the supplier will not sell them to me as i dont have a race licence! Bonkers eh? Can anyone recomend where the best place to buy pads from? And not the main dealer! The pads i had fitted in Jan are now in dust form.
