Default What Brakes?

Looking to get a big brake kit for a MY04 WRX PPP, doesn't necessarily need them, but I want them, just wondering what experience ( good or bad ) that anyone has had, how much kits have been purchased for and if any group buys are ongoing for these?
Cheers
Craig

I went for this pair of red Brembo four pot calipers, 335mm Godspeed discs and alloy bells, Godspeed alloy mounting brackets and all hardware, Ferodo DS2000 pads, and Pair of braided hoses for £850 in this group buy :-

PREVIOUS GROUP BUY ON BIG BRAKES HERE

This kit is tried & tested by many on SN & you will just have to keep a look out in the group buy section on SN for the next one.

Or start one rolling yourself.

And they do fill out the 18" PFF7's nicely as well.

Thanks for all your help, any reports on how good or bad they are? The reason for the question is that I know a boy with an RB5 who got a Prodrive kit and he had a lot of problems with brake shudder

Quickest way to get reports is do a "Search"

Type in your keyword - eg brake upgrade & read away.

Another vote here for Ian's 335mm kit that uses your existing caliper, www.godspeedbrakes.co.uk should get you where you need to be!!

I just had a StopTech front brake kit fitted to my MY03 WRX, and they are awesome. They are getting rave reviews from no end of ppl, and not just ordinary folk like me, but the ppl in the industry.

Try looking at the DBA discs for your std calipers. They do 2 peice discs which may be a good compromise for your needs without being too pricey.
