Anyone got the HI SPEC monster brake kit?

Default Anyone got the HI SPEC monster brake kit?

Hi all,

As above really, i need to upgrade my brakes on my P1 but havnt got huge amounts of money, Im thinking of the Hi SPEC or the PRODRIVE brake kit.

Any thoughts much appreciated.

Best look at this first. No personal experience but obviosuly more than one person was seriously unimpressed. I'd go for the Prodrive kit (uses Alcans) or an AP kit, you'll pay more but proper kit.

I think ill go with the Prodrive Kit now.

Yes, had them also, and have had probs with discs and Geoff...... wouldnt recommend personally

Just out of interest what brakes do you have?

Why dont you go for the Godspeed 335mm kit using your existing calipers , you cant beat them for the price

The godspeed kit is really good value for money and the stopping power is awesome. Had mine for 6 months now and have no issues.

Where is RON? he is normally on every godspeed thread?

I made a big mistake of buying Hi-Spec...

Will be buying 4Pot Brembo's from GodSpeed...though very hard to get hold of on the fone so email is better...but execelent advise

ps: i have a pair of Hi-Spec 6POT Calipers for sale if intrested....
