By fitting 18 inch wheels to my MYO3 WRX with Prodrive springs, will there be any change in the car's handling/ride quality? Will it improve or not be as good as having 17 inch wheels which I currently have?
Hi Greg,
I've got 18"'s and Prodrive springs on my 03 WRX. The springs make a huge different in handling and ride. It's definitely worth the upgrade. I haven't noticed and difference since fitting the 18"s.
Make sure you get your geometry checked after fitting the springs. I had mine done at TSL and they did an excellent job.
Hope this helps.

Can only comment on the Prodrive springs. I drove a 04 demo WRX last week with the standard springs, when I jumped back in mine I noticed the difference in height (25mm lower does make a difference), and the handling has much less "roll". High speed stability is also noticeably improved. The feel of the car seems much more purposeful, if you know what I mean?
