Dunno about the discs but AFAIK the shape of the pads come from a Lucas caliper fitted to Jaguar Sovereign / XJS / XJ6 / XJR type cars (and a Renault Master van .) The backplates have modified holes for the scoob pins - don't try to get hold of some of these pads from those dealers unless you undestand the friction material on them - the duty cycle of the vehicle is likely to be quite different...

The Mintex number is MGB585 and the universal WVA number is 20 380 15.60, Ferodo FDB817

PS which pad material did you get with the kit and what do you think of the kit so far (even though the pads probably aren't bedded in yet)?

Are they a big improvement over the standard 4-pots as this is most likely the way I'd be modding the brakes but with possibly a different material on the pads?

XJS pads, I have the 335 kit, and due to the cost of the Mintex pads that I like, I now use whatever pads I can get in my local motor factors, but I always match front pad to rears, the holes in the pads need to be filed about 3-4mm longer so that the holes effectively get nearer each other.

Ron.

ps, awesome kit with Mintex pads, more than adequate with boggo standard jobbies!!
