Severe brake judder
have had this for a couple of months now and had no time to sort it, i have an import my95 WRX with 2 pots, a mate of mine suggested it was probably one of the pistons in the the caliper had jammed hence the judder as the discs and pads have been on since the judder began
any views on this, is it an easy job to fix and cost etc?

could be the cause but basically what you have is a set of "warped" discs................what pad/ disc set-up have you??
if its a seized caliper then yes it fairly simple to sort (you may need a 'seal' kit dependant on how far its deteriorated), could be either the pistons or slider mechanism (more common)..................but this alone will not sort your 'judder' for you - at extreme you'll need discs & pads too............

Its more than likely that its warped discs, its a common problem on the early imports and one which will give an MOT failure.
New discs all depends on how you want to drive the car. Normal driving and no real heavy continuous braking, go for normal discs from Halfords (cheap). If you are going in for harder driving get some decent discs maybe drilled and or slotted. Plenty of info on here.
