Exclamation Urgent Brembo Brake Help Required

Very urgent - any help appreciated

Just had a call from Sal's Dad who is stuck! His car (MY00 Classic) is fitted with a Scoobysport Brembo brake conversion. The car is currently in for an MOT and service. The garage has found that the front brake hose has been rubbing on the suspension - so much so that it has now split and the car is now effectively immobilised.

The dealer is having real problems getting hold of a replacement brake hose, as it apparantly has a special fitting on it (don't know whether this is a Brembo thing or not).

Can anyone confirm that this special fitting is correct? More importantly, can anyone recommend somewhere that could supply the correct replacement hose (preferably in the Midlands)?

Thanks for any help.

You could try TSL, (I think Nottingham is sort of midlands isn't it).

Not quite the same car I know, but they recently fitted some braided hoses to my STi7 which has Brembo brakes so they may have what you're looking for...

Just spoken to Godspeed who have them in stock and said if you email them an address they will put a pair in the post to the garage , they said to fit a pair as their pipes have the block in the middle of the pipe which clips to the strut , to stop it touching the struts.

Email them before 4pm if you want them sent
