.............That said, if you look at the rear tyres you can see that each side presents a different rotational footprint...................which implies that they should be directional (even though they're not)...............!!!
I think we should contact pirelli!!

Do you own a WR1 or do you have these tyres fitted?
I have just brought 4 new tyres but when you put the word "outer" found on the tyre wall to the outside, the directional arrows (I think their directional arrows?) only point in a forward direction if they are all sat on the left!! So I think they are all Left handed?? Or am I talking cr@p??
Cheers

I do have a WR1.................and all the tyres are the same (like yours)
I think that Pirelli have designed a very strange tyre with the P-Zero Nero....
.....because the tread pattern rotates in a different direction depending on which side of the car the tyre is on!!
.........So, I'm sure you have been provided with the correct 'set' of tyres.
....Unfortunately, I feel the differences in rotational footprint will lead to a traction imbalance!!..................Only Pirelli can confirm/deny this!! (but my car does like to pull left on worn road surfaces......................with correct setup)

Their are 3 sections of tread pattern, 2 go one way and the 1 the other. But are you saying that for example that on the left of the car, the 2 sections are on the inside, but on the right they are on the outside! If you know what I mean
Cheers
