Default Brake advice/opinions please.....

Evening all, I've had my 96 UK turbo wagon a little over a year now and love it although I think I may have gone along the modding route the wrong way round, ie: more power with full decat and scoobyecu etc etc..........but a serious neglection of stopping power!!

I've bought some goodritch st/steel braided hoses today ( full set ) and am having them fitted on wednesday. My scoob has the ****e 2 pot calipres with standard discs and new subaru pads, my questions are:

1) What, in your' experiences, is the best brake fluid to use when fitting the
new hoses?

2) As Brembos or similar are financially out of reach at present, would a good
set of grooved discs, quality pads, braided hoses and quality fluid be a
decent subtitute for a set of 4 pots? Or, should I save my dosh, have the
new hoses fitted with decent fluid and wait until I can get some 4 pots?

Your opinions would be greatly received and noted.

My car is probably running about 260/270 Bhp as a matter of interest so not alot compared to some of you maniacs but enough for me .

Thanx in advance.

Skoosh.

1) AP Lockheed Ultra 5.1

2) No. Yes. Second-hand 4-pots are around £250 (I've got some spare if you like).
