Flush Fit Valves

I considered these a while back, but the guys at Motorsport Wheels warned me that they have a habit of bonding to the alloy. Fine until you replace tyres and want to fit a new valve, or a valve starts leaking, and the only answer is to replace the alloy. They might be better now though as this was a few years ago.

I had them on my P1 alloys for a while until I changed the tyres. They do bond onto the alloys and are a bit messy and can also damage your alloy. Also, it'll be a miracle if you can actually change your tyres without damaging the flush fit caps, I broke 3 of them and had to replace the lot with normal ones. The guy who changed my tyres looked at them first and his exact words were, "I'm taking no responsiblity if those **** things break and damage your alloys".
But you can draw to your own conclusions or take a "chance"

Guys I have had my Alloys reburbed since the valves went on, tyres off and on again with no problem, maybe the new ones are ok, although when I originally put the tyres on one of the valves broke.
They do look a lot better and stop w@nkers stealing your valve caps.
