Default fitting of goodridge hoses

i just changed me front discs and pads , i also got some goodridge braided hoses, which i'm gonna fit when i do the back brakes ,
i noticed on the fronts that theres a clip on the strut which holds the brake line , does the hose simply un clip or wot . . .

cheers

the clip will slide out...not easily. but it will. then the pipe falls through the bracket a bit. but you should slacken the 10mil that attatches the rubber pipe to metal pipe first

I think this was answered on your other thread.

I changed the hoses on my MY02 and the fronts have a single bolt on attachment in the middle (rears are a sprung loaded clip). I still found this attachment to be badly engineered as it didn't fit flush to the bracket on the strut. I going to check it (after 500 miles or so) as I think it's likely the bolt will work itself loose.

Guess this is different arrangement than older classics (because they are 4 pots?).

Question

Which kit number has the bolt attachment for the front? Surely got to be better than tie wraps
