Using OEM 4 Pot calipers with AP discs?
Can you use OEM calipers with AP brake discs? Ive heared that the standard 4pot is as good as pretty much anything else out there....
So, is it worth doing? I may have access to some cheap AP discs you see.
Cheers,
Neil.

I think the STi's are 330mm diameter and 28mm thick. Not sure about WRX.
I've got AP 6 pots on an STi and the AP discs are the same diameter and thickness as standard STi discs but they are off set much more, ie they sit further back from the hub than the standard discs. So you'd need a spacer or adaptor to move the caliper back from the hub face if you were using the standard caliper with these discs.
If you know the AP part number (mine are CP3580-2898/9G8M for example) then you can get a drawing from AP Racing which will give you critical disc dimensions.
