minor kerbage - DIY cure?
kerbed my new superleggeras at the back. One I remember doing, about 2 inches long scuff on the rim. The other is nearly half the wheel, again just the edge, but I don't remember doing it(!)
Anyway, should I deal with it quickly to stop bad stuff happening? If so, whats recommended to use?

Use a Dremmel rotary sander on v.slow and with either a sanding or small grinding wheel.
Use this to smoth out the rough bit's, then touch in with either Alluminium acrylic or Smoothrite Silver paint. Applied with a small paint brush.
You may be suprised at the results......

Scott is spot-on. Have done this method for years. The silver is a very good match!
Do it ASAP before corrosion sets in, and clean with meths and dry before carefull brushing. Done right this will work for years.
No need for re-balancing in the 5 wheels I've done.
