Question Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tyres

Has anyone had experience of Michelin's Pilot Sport Cup tyres? In particular have they been run for road use and could you live with them in the wet?

I've been using Goodyear F1's, which are great all purpose tyres but they seem to cook after half a dozen laps on a track day. I'm not in a position to run two sets of wheels so am looking for something that is OK on the road but handles and lasts on track days.

Any comments much appreciated.

Post Kumho?

Some folk on here rave about Kumho road legal slicks, which I bet are a fair bit cheaper than the Michelins.

You won't see any more than 3000 miles on the road with them, obviously depending on how hard a time you give them on track.

Cheers for the reply. I'll see if I can find some more out about Kumho's.

The Pilot Sport Cup tryes were horribly expensive for sure!
