What's your budget?

Subaru 4-pots are around £200-£250 for the calipers alone 2nd-hand. Either watch For Sale forums or try a Breakers yard or even eBay.

Godspeed do a big disk upgrade either with original Subaru 4-pots or their own.

Next is the likes of Brembo (again Godspeed sell these)

Up on that you're looking at AP's, but those will set you back £1500.

I got some 4-pots with pads and discs second hand from grade-A for 350. They were a little old but they work very well.

You can get official repair kits cheap from any Dealer if 2nd-hand calipers are a bit tired. Comes with new seals, so can do them a world of good if the pistons are sound.

You can even have them completely refurbished for about £150 from Godspeed. Includes stripping them down, blasting all the old paint off, replacing seals and pistons and spraying them in any colour.

Just keep this all in mind when badgering a deal on some 2nd-hand calipers.

I have a set of 308mm godspeed disks and 4 pot calipers with pads, brackets and a set of 4 goodridge hoses that I have just taken off my 97 impreza,as I have put it back to standard to sell it. The discs are well worn but useable (new discs can be bought from godspeed and bolted to the alloy centre bells)and the calipers need painted but work fine not seized. Mail me if interested on Pipmoff@aol.com.
