Default Outer tyre wear

Is it normal for the front tyres to wear heavily on the outer edge.

I understand that this will be due to cornering hard. I take it a standard MY03 STi has no negative camber on the geometry setup.

My RE040's are slick on the outside edge whilst the remainder of the tyre has 3-4mm left.

Would prodrive springs and a good geometry setup rectify this??

I had the same problem on my MY03 WRX.

Both front wheels had no negative camber.

In the end I had prodrive springs and geometry set up at TSL.

Handling much improved and even tyre wear.

A had a geometry set up done on mine following significant inner tyre wear. Next set of tyres exactly the same. I'm putting it down to the eibachs - but theyre worth it!!

My last set also wore heavily on the outside edge. I have since had Powerstation set up the geometry and do the bumpsteer mod. Will have to see if it makes any difference to the current set of tyres.
