Tyre size
I'm thinking of getting a set of 16" for track use. Have more or less decided on Toyo's, as they seem to be the cheapest , popular choice for grip. But the price of tyres seem to be more expensive if I go for 205/50/16 than if I go 205/55/16. Is that going to cause any problem, except a slight change in the speedo reading? Any pros and cons would be great.
Thanks in advance

Your going to get more tyre flex with the greater profile there, I'd favour the 50's for that reason mainly. The speedo will indeed be a bit out.
I've just got an amazing price from a place in Wrexham for my 18's - I'm sure they'll do others as well (they do mail order), let me know if you want the number. And have you checked MyTyres as well?

Hi BlueBoy,
Exactly the answer I was expecting, really.
The pricing I was on about was from MyTres. 55's GBP56.90, and 50's are GBP70.20. Can you post the name and number of the place in Wrexam, too? Cheers
